PT −symmetric harmonic oscillators

چکیده
Within the framework of the recently proposed formalism using non-hermitean Hamiltonians constrained merely by their PT invariance we describe a new exactly solvable family of the harmonic-oscillator-like potentials with non-equidistant spectrum. PACS 03.65.Ge, 03.65.Fd

On the eigenvalues of some nonhermitian oscillators
We consider a class of one-dimensional nonhermitian oscillators and discuss the relationship between the real eigenvalues of PT-symmetric oscillators and the resonances obtained by different authors. We also show the relationship between the strong-coupling expansions for the eigenvalues of those oscillators. Comparison of the results of the complex rotation and the Riccati-Padé methods reveals...
متن کامل8 Crypto Exotic Oscillator and Pt Symmetry
We study complexified Harmonic Oscillator with a position dependent mass, referred to in the present paper as Exotic Oscillator (EO), in arbitrary dimensions. The real space EO has an interesting dynamics: in the equation of motion the full Hamiltonian operator appears in place of the frequency parameter in a Harmonic Oscillator. We reveal some generic features in the constraint structure of th...
متن کاملPT symmetric pseudo-perturbation recipe
The pseudo-perturbative shifted l expansion technique PSLET is shown applicable in the non-Hermitian PT symmetric context. The construction of bound states for several PT symmetric potentials is presented, with special attention paid to V (r) = ir3 − α √ ir oscillators.
متن کاملAsymptotic solvability of an imaginary cubic oscillator with spikes
For complex potentials V (x) = −(ix)3 − β(ix) − 2 β δ (ix) which are PT symmetric we show that in the β ≫ 1 strong coupling regime the low lying bound states almost coincide with harmonic oscillators whenever the spectrum remains real (this means, at all δ < δcritical(β) ≈ 1).
